Job Description
The registered dietitian has a solid foundation of education, credentialing, evidence-based practice, demonstrated competence, and adheres to established professional standards. Responsible for providing comprehensive medical nutrition therapy to acute care patients while upholding Providence's mission and core values.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree Nutrition and/or Dietetics or related field preferred And
- Coursework/Training ACEND-accredited supervised practice program at a health-care facility, community agency, or a foodservice corporation or combined with undergraduate or graduate studies
- Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: Washington Dietitian Certification Or
- Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: Washington Dietitian Temporary Practice Permit Or
- Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: Washington Nutritionist Certification
- Upon hire: National CDR Registered Dietitian - Commission on Dietetic Registration
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree Nutrition and/or Dietetics or related field
- 2 years Professional experience in clinical nutrition in an acute care setting
