Venipuncture/Biometric Screener Wellness Worker- North Central Region

Medical Professional OpportunityLabcorp is a leading provider of biometric testing services, population health and comprehensive workforce wellness strategies. These services are performed by a network of Labcorp personnel located throughout the country.Labcorp is seeking medical professionals to provide testing services at events. Once hired, our staff have the ability to assign themselves to events in their area by utilizing our scheduling system. In addition, we provide pre-event comprehensive training on LES protocols.Testing services include biometric screenings, COVID-19 PCR testing, COVID-19 point of care antigen testing, and temperature checks. Our staff are responsible for the successful setup, execution, and breakdown of events while providing exceptional customer service to participants.Duties/Responsibilities:Perform venipuncture blood drawsPrepare collected specimens for testing and analysisConduct participant biometric screenings which include blood pressure and body fat analysisEnsure participant information and all screening results are accurately captured.Provide excellent customer service and maintain participant privacy at all timesAdministrative and clerical duties as necessaryPerform all other duties and tasks as assignedQualifications and Requirements:VenipunctureMedical credentials required (CPT, RN, LPN, etc.)Minimum of 1-year experience performing venipuncture blood drawsMinimum of 100 successful blood draws in the last 6 months requiredProficient taking blood pressureKnowledge of HIPPA and OSHAExcellent customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environmentBasic tablet and computer skillsMust have a reliable form of transportationMust be willing and able to pass a criminal background checkMust be at least 18 or olderBiometric ScreenerMedical credentials strongly preferred (CNA, MA, Phlebotomist, RN, LPN, etc.). Please note medical certification or license is required in some states.Minimum of 1-year experience working in a healthcare settingMust be proficient with performing fingerstick blood collection and taking blood pressureExperience with Cholestech LDX preferredKnowledge of HIPAA and OSHAExcellent customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environmentBasic tablet and computer skillsMust have a reliable form of transportationMust be willing and able to pass a criminal background checkMust be at least 18 or olderPay Range:$18 - $23 per hourAll job offers will be based on a candidate's skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.Benefits:Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Casual, PRN & Part Time employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours are eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan only.
