Job Title: Roofing & Construction Project Manager Location: Central Ohio and Surrounding Areas Job Type: Full-time Pay: Competitive Commission-Based Pay Structure About the Role We’re seeking an experienced, hands‑on Roofing & Construction Project Manager to lead and oversee residential and light commercial roofing, siding, and exterior projects across Central Ohio and surrounding areas. You’ll be the quarterback ensuring every job is delivered on time, on budget, to the highest quality standards, and with outstanding customer experiences. Key Responsibilities Manage multiple roofing, siding, and exterior projects simultaneously from estimate handoff through final walkthrough and warranty coordination. Plan, schedule, and coordinate field crews, subcontractors, and material deliveries to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime. Conduct thorough pre‑job site assessments, verify scopes of work, and ensure all safety protocols, permits, and job specifications are in place. Champion quality control: Perform regular job site inspections, enforce craftsmanship standards, and conduct final quality checks before customer sign‑off. Serve as the primary point of contact for homeowners — provide proactive updates, manage expectations, address concerns promptly, and ensure high customer satisfaction scores. Track project budgets closely, monitor costs vs. estimates, approve material/labor invoices, handle change orders professionally, and drive profitability without sacrificing quality. Coordinate seamlessly with internal teams (sales, finance) and external partners (suppliers like ABC Supply/Beacon, insurance adjusters). Enforce strict OSHA safety standards and foster a culture of safety, quality, and integrity across all field operations. Mentor and support field team members; identify training needs and contribute to continuous improvement of processes. Leverage technology (project management tools, mobile apps, and reporting systems) to stay organized and communicate effectively. What We’re Looking For 3+ years managing roofing, siding, or exterior construction projects (residential focus). Strong knowledge of roofing systems and Ohio climate challenges. Proven track record of on‑time, on‑budget delivery and happy customers. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills. Ability to read estimates/scopes and basic plans. Valid driver’s license + reliable transportation for daily job site visits. Comfortable with technology (smartphone/tablet, Google Workspace, project tools). Detail‑oriented yet adaptable in a growing company. Commitment to safety, quality, and ethical practices. Insurance restoration experience is a plus.
