Mars Petcare- Production Scheduler - KKC

• Hiring Manager : Jenna Laham

Shift Schedule : Day Shift; Monday- Friday; 7am-3:30pm (Available to work rotating shifts as needed)

Description of Role:

The Production Scheduler provides the knowledge and skills to effectively and efficiently schedule the conversion of raw materials to high-quality finished product according to Quality standards and demand signals. This is to provide our customers with the proper product at the appropriate destination in a timely and cost-effective manner, while reducing age-out and scrap risk.

What are we looking for?

Minimum Requirements:

• Must submit OAP form with line manager approval
• 1+ years' experience in manufacturing
• Basic math, reading and writing skills and analytical mindset.
• Advanced knowledge of personal computers to include Microsoft Excel (Teams, OneNote, One Drive, etc.)

Physical Requirements:

• Lift up to 55 lbs

Preferred Qualifications:

• Technical degree or certification

• Knowledge in SAP, Blue Yonder, OMP, Orion, Production Summary

What will be your key responsibilities?

• Coordinate with Receiving, Inventory Control, and Commercial Inbound to identify raw material needs.
• Coordinate with Supply Planning Analyst and Supply Planner to review demand signals
• Communicate with all internal stakeholders
• Perform required reporting for Connection Points- Monitor and manage product flow- Participate/Lead change management calls and input to site
• Change Management meetings
• Participate in continuous improvement activities with Production Scheduling Impact
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment that promotes associate safety and product integrity.
• Maintain a level-headed approach to constant changing circumstances, and effectively change approach as needed
• Learn and manage multiple operating systems in tandem (SAP, Blue Yonder, OMP, Orion, Production Summary)
• Promote high quality team environment through effective team work and self-management with a positive attitude.
• Comfort around higher management and the ability to build relationships with other functional leaders (Plant Manager, Area Managers, Reliability Manager, etc)

• Participate in site Connection Points, and focus groups as appropriate
• Must be able to cover vacations for other production schedulers.
• Other similar duties as assigned.
