Registered Nurse

This position involves providing nursing care on a Medical-Surgical unit. The RN will be responsible for monitoring patients' conditions and identifying rhythms every four hours. Candidates should have experience with post-operative surgery, general medicine, orthopedics, gynecology, and vascular procedures. Common patient conditions include heart failure, chest pain, pneumonia, cellulitis, pancreatitis, alcohol withdrawal, and the management of various protocols for infusions. Nurses will also handle medications such as Heparin, TPN, Lasix, and Cardizem. The role includes working every other weekend and participating in holiday rotations. Floating to other units may be required if needed.
