Inpatient Geriatric Psychiatrist
We are seeking a full-time Inpatient Geriatric Psychiatrist to join a highly regarded behavioral health program. This is a fantastic opportunity for psychiatrists with training or a strong interest in geriatric psychiatry. Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care for older adults in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. Provide inpatient psychiatric care for geriatric patients in a 20-bed unit. Collaborate with a full-time Clinical Coordinator/Social Worker trained in geriatric psychiatry. Work within a multidisciplinary team of therapists, counselors, case managers, psychiatrists, and nurse practitioners. Participate in a weekend call rotation for inpatient coverage. Deliver patient-centered, evidence-based care that addresses the medical, psychiatric, and social needs of older adults. Coordinate care with behavioral health leadership and resources. Support a stable, full-time psychiatrist presence on the unit. Candidates must have clean malpractice and license history. Candidates with lapsed Board Certification will not be accepted. This position does not accept local candidates within a specified radius.
