Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive veterinary care for small and large animal patients.
• Perform wellness examinations diagnostics surgery dentistry and medical treatments.
• Manage complex cases and develop appropriate diagnostic and treatment plans.
• Provide medical leadership and help maintain high standards of patient care.
• Mentor support and collaborate with veterinarians and veterinary support staff.
• Promote strong communication and long-term relationships with clients.
• Educate clients regarding preventive care treatment options and ongoing patient needs.
• Support efficient clinical workflows and effective use of medical resources.
• Encourage continued professional development and a culture of collaboration.
• Utilize available diagnostic surgical rehabilitation and therapeutic resources.
• Participate in emergency and mobile large-animal services as appropriate to the practice.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
• Appropriate veterinary license or eligibility for licensure.
• Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
• Experience providing care in a mixed animal or predominantly small animal practice.
• Previous leadership management or veterinary mentorship experience preferred.
• Strong communication and client-education skills.
• Compassionate client-centered approach to patient care.
• Ability to work collaboratively with veterinarians and support staff.
• Commitment to continuous learning professional development and high-quality medicine.
