Roles & Responsibilities:

Provide security system service support.

• Evaluate, diagnose, troubleshoot and perform repairs as necessary on security systems.
• Respond to and resolve assigned service tickets, responding to email inquiries, as well as responding to incoming calls on our support line
• Bench test and repair DVRs and CPUs. Secure Return Authorizations from manufacturer repair/replacement.
• Maintain accurate records of all remote access databases for DVR, Access Control and Alarm systems. this includes contacting customer IT personnel to update and correct any changes.
• Provide phone support for customers and technicians on installed systems.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Highly PC literate and able to learn new software and systems quickly
• Must have an understanding of CCTV, Access Control, Information Technologies and/or other electronic/low voltage control systems.
• Experience with multiple versions of Windows would be preferred.
• Previous experience with remote management tools is a plus. An understanding of basic TCP/IP networking and Windows networks is ideal
• Troubleshooting and critical thinking skills are a must for this role.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Previous experience with user support or customer service would be preferred.
