To become our Quality Administrative Coordinator, you'll need to be able to work full-time from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm and meet the following:
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks with minimal breaks
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
- Ability to accurately read and follow specifications/technical drawings
- Strong proficiency with reading blueprints and using measurement tools
- Solid communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
While not required, quality inspection experience in an industry such as steel, tooling, or engineering is highly desired. Knowledge about ISO standards and industry regulations would also be beneficial.
Our Quality Administrative Coordinator oversees the introduction of new parts and makes sure that the administrative and quality aspects are accurately completed. This includes documentation, quality inspections, specification management, customer communication, and internal execution. You'll inspect materials, evaluate processes, verify drawings and documents, and ensure that important information flows between external customers as well as internal engineering and quality teams. Responsibilities include (but aren't limited to):
- Inspecting new steel tools, components, and engineering materials to verify quality and specification compliance
- Identifying defects/inaccuracies and taking corrective measures in collaboration with the quality, production, and engineering teams
- Assisting with inspection back-ups, process audits, and work center audits
- Accurately documenting and maintaining inspection and audit records
- Preparing and delivering SPS packages to customers
- Verifying the accuracy and compliance of engineering documents
- Helping create and implement strategies for improving product quality and workflow efficiency
- Maintaining the Master Specification in eCAV and ensuring compliance with all customer desires and internal standards
- Preparing and distributing customer correspondence in a timely manner
- Completing inspection administrative tasks, such as uploading material certifications and releasing approved materials
- Performing accurate data entry and assisting with other responsibilities as assigned
