Our car dealership team is rapidly expanding, and we are currently looking for a new automotive technician to join our service center. The ideal candidate will be eager to diagnose and facilitate automotive repairs using our automotive computer software and their electrical systems expertise. $25 - $45 hourly

• Use diagnostic equipment, technical expertise, and the vehicle’s integrated diagnostic systems to identify and determine the cause of malfunction codes
• Establish processes for tracking diagnostics and system repairs, maintaining up-to-date manufacturer specifications, and more
• Facilitate customer satisfaction and repeat business by following all manufacturer specifications for vehicle systems repairs
• Clearly articulate automotive repair issues and repairs needed to remedy them to both customers and auto mechanics
• Examine all vehicle systems such as the air conditioning, engine, transmission, and brake systems with a step-by-step approach

• Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements
• Diagnose and repair issues with vehicles
• Inspect and test automotive electrical systems for faults and malfunctions
• Replace worn or damaged parts, such as shocks, struts, and suspension components
• Perform scheduled vehicle maintenance services according to manufacturer guidelines
• Keep accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed

• Strong customer service and communications skills are needed
• ASE certification or comparable standard service technician credential, such as SAE, is attractive
• Must have completed a post-secondary training program in automotive service technology; associate degree a plus
• Possess a high school diploma or GED

• Experience level: 3 years
• Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role
• Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of automotive systems
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing vehicles
• Familiarity with automotive electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques - Ability to use hand tools and diagnostic equipment effectively
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills to explain technical issues to customers
• Strong willingness to work with others in a positive way
