Join us and become part of a team dedicated to making a meaningful difference in the lives of residents every day.Responsibilities:Create, coordinate, post, and manage nursing department schedules to ensure 24-hour staffing coverageUtilize staffing resources appropriately, including regular staff, overtime, staffing pools, and agency personnel in accordance with facility requirements and labor agreementsProcess staff schedule requests and time-off requests prior to schedule finalizationSubmit staffing requests to staffing pools and assist in securing coverage for open shiftsMaintain and update the master staffing schedule and daily staffing recordsMonitor staffing levels and adjust schedules to address call-offs, no-shows, leaves of absence, workers' compensation cases, and terminationsCommunicate staffing vacancies, agency usage, and staffing concerns to nursing leadership and administrationMaintain attendance records and track call-offs, tardiness, and attendance-related concernsPrepare attendance-related disciplinary documentation for nursing leadership reviewEnter and maintain scheduling and payroll-related information in UKG and other company systemsUpdate electronic timecards and ensure payroll-related documentation is submitted accurately and timelyCoordinate staffing-related communication with Human Resources and Payroll departmentsComplete and submit weekly vacancy reportsSchedule companion aides and maintain facility transportation logs, if applicablePerform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing, Administrator, or SupervisorRequirements:Minimum education requirement: High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's Degree preferredMinimum experience requirement: 6 months of experience working in a nursing position and prior experience with scheduling and staffing in a healthcare facility; 1 year of experience working in a nursing position preferredCNA, LPN, or RN license requiredStrong organizational, time management, and scheduling skillsExperience using staffing, scheduling, payroll, and timekeeping systems, including UKGAbility to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing staffing needsStrong communication, teamwork, and conflict resolution skillsKnowledge of healthcare staffing practices, attendance management, and labor agreementsAbility to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA requirementsStrong attention to detail and commitment to accuracyBenefits:Paid Time Off (PTO) for Full-Time and Part-TimeWeekly or Same-Day Pay OptionsHealth, Dental, and Vision InsuranceLife InsuranceEmployee Referral Bonus ProgramRetirement Saving OptionsEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
