Title: Registered Nurse – ICU (LTACH)

Location: Columbia, SC 29201

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 4x12s

Requirements:

• 2 years of ICU experience required
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in the unit
• LTACH/LTAC experience preferred
• Neuro experience required
• BLS, ACLS & NIHSS required
• 1+ year of Epic experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• No travel experience required
• Must be willing to float between ICU and Med-Surg
• Every other weekend coverage
• Adult and geriatric patient population

Description:

• 12-bed LTACH ICU within a 35-bed Med-Surg unit
• Staff may work in both ICU and Med-Surg
• Patient population includes ventilator weaning, wound care, spinal cord injuries, tracheostomy and PEG patients
• Provide care for critically ill adult and geriatric patients in an LTACH setting
• Manage complex ICU conditions including respiratory, neurological, cardiovascular, renal, and metabolic disorders
• Perform cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia management, IV therapy, central/arterial line care, ventilator management, and medication titration
• Collaborate with Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, Radiology, Social Services, and other support teams
