Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from an American Physical Therapy Association approved program, or equivalent entry-level degree in physical therapy.
• Current, active Florida Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.
• Proof of current CPR certification required.
• Current driver’s license, reliable transportation, and personal auto insurance required due to home health travel responsibilities.
• 1-2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist in an acute care or rehabilitation setting required.
• Experience with durable medical equipment and ordering appropriate rehabilitative equipment preferred.
• Previous home care experience preferred.
• Ability to perform documentation: prepare and revise Plans of Care, progress notes, phone orders, and other clinical records.
• Ability to perform clinical assessments, provide neuromuscular, neurological, and orthopedic treatment, and instruct patients and families on transfers and assistive devices.
• Ability to travel locally and work a flexible schedule. Ability to perform physical demands of the role including lifting, bending, prolonged standing and walking.

• Assignment Type: Travel / Temporary Contractor. Assignment dates run from April through June 2026.
• Shift Name: Other. Shift pattern: 5x8.
• Candidates must have reliable transportation and be prepared to travel locally to patient homes.
