Skills & Experience Understanding federal, state and local employment laws Using basic Microsoft Office Suite and workforce management programs Effectively using scheduling software Responsibilities Create an easy, inspiring and friendly guest experience by delivering on the following commitments: Greet guests friendly‑style: 10 ft – smile, eye contact, wave; 4 ft – greet, smile, initiate good interaction. Help guests find what they need and resolve issues to ensure a smooth shopping experience. End every transaction with a sincere thank‑you. Actively support team efforts, assist peers, maintain a positive and respectful attitude. Adjust to business and guest needs to deliver an easy and inspiring experience. Work with your HR leader to anticipate staffing needs and ensure the right mix of experience and skills. Lead focused recruiting efforts to help store leaders hire candidates. Support team member and leader training needs and advocate continuous learning. Be an expert resource for scheduling systems and pay practices. Be approachable, listen and collaborate with appropriate leaders to take action. Deliver on all HR processes and programs to maximize engagement and minimize disruption. Support compliance policies to mitigate risk. Demonstrate culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance. Work safely, comply with safety policies, report hazards. Other duties as assigned based on business needs. Qualifications You enjoy interacting and helping others – guests and team members. You thrive in a fast‑moving, highly active, physically demanding role. You are open to a flexible work schedule with varying hours, days, shifts (including nights, weekends, holidays). Skills Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and colleagues. Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment. Effective communication skills. Work independently and with a team. Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot. Attention to detail and follow multi‑step processes. Remain focused and composed in a fast‑paced environment, accomplish multiple tasks. Physical & Work Conditions Accurately handle cash register operations as needed. Frequently lift or move merchandise up to 10 pounds; occasionally up to 44 pounds. Work in varying temperature/humidity and other elements (Drive‑Up, carry‑out, etc.). Remain mobile as required for shift length. Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends, holidays); arrive on schedule, take required breaks.
