Respiratory Therapist RRT - Per Diem 2 - Days

Hourly Pay Range: $33.16 - $49.74 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Position Highlights: Position: Respiratory Therapist - Per Diem Level 2 - Days Location: Northwest Community Hospital - Arlington Heights, IL Per Diem Commitment Level 2: 73-110 hours per 6-week schedule? Hours: Shifts will vary Monday-Friday from 7:00am-7:30pm. 1 weekend and 1 holiday shift during 6 week period, required . Holidays are scheduled with A/B rotation. What you will do: Assists Physicians, as requested with Respiratory Therapy procedures Provide respiratory therapy to neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients as ordered by physicians according hospital policy and procedures Assess patients to determine most suitable method of administering treatment Document treatment, equipment maintenance and quality control activities and transcribe verbal or phone order by physicians Communicate to patient and family the treatment being performed in a clear manner Monitor patient physiological response to therapy with special attention to the pediatric and neonatal patients Provide patient and staff education What you will need: Education : Graduation from a nationally accredited Respiratory Therapy program, as determined by the Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC) License/Certifications: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or proof of registry eligible status State of Illinois Respiratory Care Practitioner licensure within six months of employment Current CPR certification issued by the American Heart Association ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) within 24 months of employment NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) within 24 months of employment PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) within 24 months of employment Benefits (For full time or part time positions): Premium pay such as shift, on call, holiday and more based on an employee?s job Incentive pay for select positions Opportunity for annual increases based on performance Career Pathways to Promote Professional Growth and Development Various Medical, Dental, Pet and Vision options Tuition Reimbursement Free Parking Wellness Program Savings Plan Health Savings Account Options Retirement Options with Company Match Paid Time Off and Holiday Pay Community Involvement Opportunities Endeavor Health is a fully integrated healthcare delivery system committed to providing access to quality, vibrant, community-connected care, serving an area of more than 4.2 million residents across six northeast Illinois counties.
