Job Description

Chailyn’s Trucking Inc. is a growing transportation company committed to providing safe, dependable, and professional freight services across the United States. We are currently looking for an experienced CDL Class A Flatbed Driver to join our team.

Our drivers operate Over-the-Road (OTR) routes throughout the Northern, Southern, Southwestern, and Eastern regions of the United States . This position is best suited for a dependable driver who is comfortable spending extended periods on the road and has experience safely operating an 18-wheeler and hauling flatbed freight.

Responsibilities

Safely operate an 18-wheeler/tractor-trailer on OTR routes
Transport flatbed freight across multiple regions of the United States
Properly secure, tarp, and inspect loads before and during transportation
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
Maintain accurate logs, delivery documentation, and required paperwork
Follow all DOT and FMCSA safety regulations
Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and company management
Meet scheduled pickup and delivery times
Maintain assigned equipment and immediately report safety or maintenance concerns

Requirements

Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
Minimum 1–3 years of professional commercial driving experience
Previous flatbed trucking experience required
Experience safely operating an 18-wheeler/tractor-trailer
Must be prepared and available for OTR travel
Knowledge of proper flatbed load securement and tarping procedures
Strong understanding of DOT safety requirements
Dependable, professional, and safety-focused
Ability to work independently and communicate effectively while on the road
