This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shifts from 19:00 to 07:00, requiring three weekend shifts per four-week scheduling period.

Job Description

Join our dynamic 34-bed MedSurg unit, providing exceptional care for patients with a wide range of acute medical conditions. Our dedicated team collaborates closely to deliver patient-centered care in a rewarding environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in a 34-bed MedSurg unit with telemetry.
• Manage patient care with a ratio of 1:5-7.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize an acuity tool to ensure appropriate staffing levels and patient assignments.
• Conduct daily huddles, manage patient flow, and actively engage with patients.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required.
• Current RN license in West Virginia or Compact license.
• Certifications: BCLS, ACLS, NIHSS required.
• Travel experience not required, but preferred.
