Inside Sales / Customer Service Representative – $20/Hour + Commission

Training Location: Huntington Beach, CA
Long-Term Location: Lake Forest, CA
Pay: $20.00/hour + Commission

Express Employment Professionals is recruiting for an Inside Sales / Customer Service Representative to join a company specializing in the buying and selling of precious metals.

This is a direct-hire opportunity for someone who enjoys talking with people, building rapport, providing excellent customer service, and working in a sales-focused environment. You'll work directly with customers interested in selling precious metals and help guide them through the process from initial inquiry through appointment and transaction.

No precious metals experience? That's okay. Training will be provided. We're looking for someone with the right combination of customer service, sales ability, professionalism, and willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to incoming customer inquiries by phone, email, and other communication channels

• Schedule and confirm customer appointments

• Speak with customers regarding precious metals and items they are interested in selling

• Gather information about customer items and needs

• Assist customers throughout the evaluation and sales process

• Provide customers with competitive pricing and explain offers clearly and professionally

• Build rapport and establish trust with prospective and existing customers

• Follow up with leads and customers regarding potential transactions

• Maintain accurate customer and appointment information

• Provide a high level of customer service throughout each interaction

• Work with the internal team to ensure a smooth customer experience

• Help convert customer inquiries and leads into appointments and completed transactions

• Learn precious metal products, pricing processes, terminology, and industry standards through company-provided training

What We're Looking For

• Previous inside sales, customer service, retail sales, account management, or similar experience

• Comfortable speaking with customers by phone and in person

• Strong ability to build rapport and establish credibility quickly

• Sales-minded without being overly aggressive

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Strong follow-up and organizational skills

• Comfortable discussing pricing and helping customers make decisions

• Motivated by goals and the opportunity to earn commission

• Professional, dependable, and customer-focused

• Comfortable learning about precious metals, valuations, and the buying/selling process

• Basic computer and data-entry skills

• Must be able to train in Huntington Beach and transition to the company's long-term location in Lake Forest

Compensation

$20.00/hour + Commission

This position offers the opportunity to earn additional income through commission while developing specialized knowledge within the precious metals industry.
