Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Respiratory Therapist to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality respiratory care in a clinical setting, ensuring patient safety and comfort during treatments and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Administer and monitor ventilator support and other respiratory therapeutic procedures.
• Assess patient needs and develop appropriate respiratory care plans.
• Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results to assist in treatment decisions.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory health and self-management techniques.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.

Shift Details

This position requires a 12-hour shift, primarily from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with every other weekend (EOW) commitment. Guaranteed hours are 36 hours per week.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in respiratory therapy is required.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) via NBRC, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), and PALS.

Hiring Process

Orientation

It is essential to be present in state during the week of orientation, even if the first day modules are conducted remotely.

Travel Requirements

A driving license must be submitted as part of the application process. Candidates should be willing to travel within a radius of 60 miles for potential assignments.
