HEAVY EQUIPMENT AUCTION SITE OPERATIONS COORDINATOR

Altec’s JJ Kane auction subsidiary has an opening for an Auction Site Operations Coordinator in our Shakopee, MN yard. Responsibilities Coordinate and manage all equipment deliveries from consignors and transporters; develop and maintain knowledge of commonly sold products. Deal with operational issues such as capturing high‑quality images, creating accurate descriptions, and ensuring compliance with internal standards. Assist with data acquisition for items to be sold in the region and help approve items for auction and the website. Serve as the primary point of contact for sellers, buyers, and transporters, resolving customer service issues promptly and professionally. Assist with item pick‑up after sale and maintain accurate inventory records for the site. Ensure all safety and environmental inspections are completed and processes adhered to in compliance with company standards and regulations. Travel required up to 25%. Perform all other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required; sales or business degrees preferred. Available for overnight travel, required. Must be able to analyze problems and develop solutions. Good communication skills are a must. Must be able to independently manage their time and tasks. Demonstrated customer and people skills. Must be able to work with team members and with minimal supervision.
