MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT:

• Designs and defines system architecture for new or existing computer systems.
• Develop Enterprise Technical Procedures (ETPs) with the directions to apply patches, upgrades and security configurations and/or updates to the baseline system in the Engineering Operations Facility (EOF) for testing IAW with the STIGs.
• Ensure that already-provisioned Linux systems are kept in compliance with baseline requirements & ever-changing enterprise policy.
• Monitor all solutions integrated via a centralized alerting system.
• Develop an operating system lifecycle plan with integration of DoD STIGs and other recommended security standards.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED (Required): Education & Experience: Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 5 years' experience required. An additional 4 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree. Clearance: Active Secret security clearance required. Certification: Current DOW IAT level III. Technical Skills:

• VMWare management/administration experience.
• Thorough experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Ubuntu or a derivative.
• Knowledge of Windows and Linux Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) and current DISA's hardening protocol.
• Experienced in systems analysis, design, integration, documentation, and engineering.

The likely salary range for this position is $88,130 - $117,875. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
