A US security clearance may be required for this position, therefore applicants must be clearable.** Compunetix is seeking a Junior Hardware Engineer to work with a team of engineers to design high-speed digital hardware for our telecommunications systems.Responsibilities:Design high-speed digital hardware for telecommunication systemsDesign and debug microprocessor-based PCBs using general purpose CPUs and DSPsFPGA design, debug and simulationWrite test code for production tests as well as engineering checkoutRequirements:BSEE, MSEE preferred0-5 years’ experience focusing on high speed digital and/or microprocessor designFamiliarity with FPGA’s, VHDL and simulationFamiliarity with CExperience with schematic design and layout tools such as SolidWorks, OrCAD, Hyperlinks and Allegro Documentation experience desired We offer competitive wages and an excellent benefits package.
