Lee Health is a nonprofit organization with more than 17,000 employees, 4,500 volunteers, and more than 1,200 employed primary care and specialty care providers with multiple practice locations throughout Southwest Florida. The organization has four acute care hospitals and one specialty hospital that together house over 1,800 hospital beds.


Position Information:


Our established Palliative Care team provides comprehensive, inpatient-only consultative services across three major regional hospitals: Gulf Coast Medical Center (GCMC), Health Park Medical Center (HPMC), and Cape Coral Hospital (CCH), with no outpatient clinic requirements. The collaborative multidisciplinary team is currently comprised of 4 physicians, 11 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), and 5 social workers working together to deliver high-quality patient care. In this role, physicians share on-call coverage approximately one week per month. To support a strong work-life balance, the program offers geographic flexibility, with the ability to accommodate specific hospital campus preferences based on proximity to the physician's home.
