Job Role

• Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' requirements and formulate personalized therapy strategies that empower them to achieve their key functional objectives.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply research-backed methods to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and day-to-day activities.
• Collaborate with Multi-Disciplinary Teams: Work in close partnership with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver thorough and patient-centered care.
• Educate Patients and Families: Provide information and guidance to patients and their families about therapy practices that encourage continued progress outside the clinical environment.
• Track Progress and Adapt Treatment: Monitor patient advancements and modify protocols as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an approved institution.
• Encouragement and support for ongoing education and advanced certifications.

Essential Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license in good standing.
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory.
