When you grow, we grow - together.This Position Will Serve Birmingham, AL and Surrounding AreasTravels daily to stores with own vehicle within assigned areas to conduct physical inventories of store merchandise utilizing a handheld scanner. Upon completion of the audit, the auditor works with the Store Managers to review the audit results and communicates the results and observations to the Audit Supervisor and Operations Management.Hours: 5:30am - Finish M-FAs an Inventory Auditor, You Will Be Responsible For:Verifying merchandise and cash in each of the Circle K Company stores by conducting a physical count using a handheld computerNotifying store managers of wrong prices and pull out-of-code merchandiseCounting and verifying cash assets on siteVerifying money orders, lottery tickets inventory and bank depositsVerifying gasoline inventoryPerform surveys to verify compliance with operational and financial proceduresWorking in safe manner by complying with procedures, rules, and regulationsWorking independently with little supervisionPerforming multi-tasks in a fast-paced environmentContributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as neededQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED preferredRequires 1 year of inventory auditing experience or retail experience in a convenience store environmentMust have a valid driver's license with no major offenses and current liability car insuranceOccasional overnight travel may be requiredPhysical Requirements: The physical requirements described here are examples of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
