PT / Physical Therapist

MLee Medical Employment

Imagine a daily routine where your expertise catalyzes a patient's journey to recovery - guiding someone's first steps following surgery, helping a stroke survivor reclaim their autonomy, or aiding an individual in regaining their voice after illness. In the role of a PT / Physical Therapist, your work will go beyond mere treatment; you'll empower individuals to find renewed strength, dignity, and hope during some of life's most challenging moments. And you'll welcome this opportunity in an extraordinary city that exemplifies vibrancy and life. We are thrilled to present an opening for an empathetic and skilled PT / Physical Therapist to join our exceptional team in Washington, DC. This bustling metropolis offers not just a thriving professional atmosphere but also a lifestyle steeped in cultural richness and inspiration. If you are eager to make a profound impact in the lives of others while embarking on a fulfilling adventure, your moment has arrived. Your responsibilities will include conducting evaluations of patients in inpatient or outpatient environments and crafting personalized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs. You will engage in administering therapeutic interventions aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall functionality. Collaboration will be key as you work alongside nurses, physicians, case managers, and rehabilitation professionals to ensure optimal outcomes for your patients. You'll also take on the vital task of educating patients and their families about therapeutic goals, preparing for discharge, and providing guidance on home exercises. Consistent documentation of evaluations, treatments, and progress will be required per facility protocols and guidelines, all while participating in interdisciplinary conferences and care team rounds to ensure that our patients receive cohesive care. To qualify for this role, candidates must hold a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from a recognized program and possess state licensure as a Physical Therapist. While CPR certification is preferred, specialized certifications such as those in neurological or geriatric therapy can provide an added advantage but are not mandatory. A strong background in treating patients with intricate medical and mobility challenges, coupled with excellent communication and teamwork skills, will serve you well in this position. We offer an appealing compensation package along with comprehensive benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as continuing education and licensure reimbursement. Paid time off and flexible scheduling will allow for a work-life balance that suits your needs, all within a supportive team culture that values your growth and provides opportunities for clinical advancement. In this role, every single day will present new challenges, and each interaction will carry the potential for profound meaning. Position yourself as a trusted companion during the early phases of recovery. Whether you are aiding a patient in regaining their balance post-surgery or walking them through the demanding yet rewarding task of post-stroke rehabilitation, your assistance will be invaluable. This hands-on, heart-driven role calls for both precision and presence, promising an unparalleled sense of fulfillment, as you'll witness the immediate impacts of your skills. As a key member of our collaborative healthcare team, your contributions will also be crucial in discharge planning and ensuring safe transitions for patients back to their homes. We seek individuals who transcend their resumes with their understanding of the healing power of movement, the strength of compassion, and the recognition that progress can take many forms - from taking a mere step to embracing the freedom of walking once again. We invite you to join us as a PT / Physical Therapist in the captivating city of Washington, DC, where the combination of dedicated clinicians, a dynamic work environment, and an energizing urban landscape awaits you. Together, we aim to help people rediscover mobility while championing your own growth and success in the profession. Seize this opportunity to work in a purpose-driven setting that makes a genuine difference in everyday lives. Come be part of our team and the vibrant life that Washington, DC, has to offer!
