Brewery Assistant

Side Hustle Brewing Company is seeking a motivated and dependable part‑time Brewery Assistant to support our brewing operations at our Hilton Head Island location. This position assists the Head Brewer with cleaning, sanitation, packaging, organization, and other day‑to‑day brewery tasks that help keep production running efficiently. No professional brewing experience is required, although an interest in craft beer and manufacturing is a plus. We are willing to train the right candidate. Primary Responsibilities Clean and sanitize brewing equipment, fermenters, kegs, and work areas. Assist with packaging operations. Help move raw materials, beer, and equipment throughout the brewery. Assist with brewing, cellar, and packaging tasks as directed by the Head Brewer. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Perform general brewery maintenance and miscellaneous operational tasks. Follow all company safety and sanitation procedures. Qualifications Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated. Able to follow directions and work independently. Comfortable working in a production environment. Able to regularly lift up to 55 pounds. Able to stand, bend, and perform physical work throughout the shift. Must be at least 21 years of age. Schedule Approximately 20 hours per week. Flexible schedule to be coordinated with the Head Brewer based on production needs. Growth Opportunity This position offers the opportunity to develop additional brewing and cellar skills over time.
