Physical Therapist - Acute Care / Med-Surg

Job Overview We are hiring a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to support MedSurg (medical-surgical) patients in Cheraw, SC. The PT will provide evidence-based rehabilitation services focused on improving mobility, functional independence, and recovery outcomes for patients in an acute care environment. This role is ideal for a motivated clinician who values patient-centered care, interdisciplinary collaboration, and high-quality rehabilitation services. Key Responsibilities Evaluate patients' physical function and rehabilitation needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Deliver therapeutic interventions to restore mobility and strength Monitor, document, and update patient progress and outcomes Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinical care teams Educate patients and caregivers on recovery plans and exercises Follow hospital policies, safety standards, and clinical best practices Required Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program Current and unrestricted Physical Therapy license in South Carolina Current CPR certification Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in a rehabilitation or hospital-based MedSurg setting Skills & Competencies Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills Effective communication and teamwork in a healthcare setting Ability to work in a fast-paced acute care environment Commitment to quality patient outcomes and evidence-based practice #J-18808-Ljbffr BlackStar
