About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Compliance and Risk Management. This key role is focused on the development and management of a comprehensive compliance program to ensure the institution operates in accordance with all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a culture of compliance and integrity, collaborating with senior leadership and stakeholders, and serving as a resource and advisor on compliance and enterprise risk management matters. Specific duties include program development, training, and education, as well as overseeing reporting and investigation processes. The Executive Director will also be involved in policy and procedure development and revision, and must have a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should have a Master's degree in a relevant field, with a JD being preferred, and a minimum of 3 years' of compliance or regulatory experience. The role requires a candidate with a working knowledge of local, state, and federal legislation governing compliance in higher education, as well as the ability to manage projects effectively and collaboratively. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will have experience in policy and procedure development, enterprise risk management, and hold a current compliance or regulatory certification.
