Mechanical Technician - Aerospace Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum + overtime at 1.5x, bonus, and profit share. Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. Location: Braintree. We are seeking a Mechanical Technician to repair and maintain aircraft equipment and machinery in a rapidly expanding aerospace company. Full industry training will be provided, with the opportunity to advance to a Senior Engineer role. Key Responsibilities: Testing, repairing, and overhauling mechanical aerospace components. Working on mechanical engineering tasks and some avionic systems. Conducting maintenance on aviation equipment and machinery. Participating in specialist repairs of electronic, electrical, and mechanical equipment. Achieving sign-off on work as progress to senior duties. Candidate Profile: Background in mechanical engineering - any industry acceptable. Interest in receiving full aerospace training and progressing into a senior engineer. Resides within a commutable distance from Braintree. This role offers enhanced overtime, a lucrative bonus scheme, and a company profit share scheme.
