The organization is seeking a Transplant Pulmonologist to join the Tulane Lung Center and the Section of Pulmonary Diseases and Critical Care Medicine in New Orleans. Recognized as a leading research institution, particularly in the Southern United States, our company offers a unique opportunity to be part of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to addressing Lung Failure, Lung Transplant, and Advanced Lung Diseases. Depending on the candidate's interests and availability, there are also opportunities to engage in ECMO, Pulmonary Hypertension, Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD), or Cardiothoracic ICU.

For those interested, a Medical Directorship may be available based on qualifications and experience. Our pulmonology department features a robust Interventional Pulmonary program and is at the forefront of advanced pulmonary care, including Louisiana's only accredited programs for interstitial lung disease and cystic fibrosis. Additionally, we have an accredited Heart Transplant program, Mechanical Circulatory Support, advanced heart failure services, and all solid organ transplant programs.

Qualifications
  • Must possess a Louisiana Medical License; Board Certification in Internal Medicine; Pulmonary Diseases; and Critical Care Medicine.
