Role Description The Life Insurance Agent is a full-time, on-site role based in Houston, TX. This role involves meeting with clients to assess their financial protection needs, explaining life insurance options, and recommending suitable policies. Day-to-day tasks include prospecting and following up with leads, conducting needs analyses, preparing quotes, and assisting clients with applications and policy changes. The agent will maintain accurate records in company systems, respond to client inquiries, and support policy reviews to ensure coverage remains aligned with changing life circumstances. Collaboration with colleagues on marketing initiatives and participation in training sessions and compliance reviews are also part of this role. Qualifications Strong interpersonal, communication, and client relationship-building skills. Ability to explain complex financial and insurance concepts in clear, accessible language. Organizational skills for managing multiple clients, follow-ups, and documentation. Comfort with sales activities, including prospecting, presenting solutions, and closing opportunities. Basic proficiency with computers, CRM tools, and digital communication platforms. High level of integrity, professionalism, and respect for confidentiality. Willingness to learn life insurance products, industry regulations, and company procedures. State life insurance license (or eligibility and willingness to obtain one within a defined timeframe).
