Job Title: Radiographer (Radiologic Technologist) Location: Detroit, MI Shift: Evening 5*8 Schedule: 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM (Mon-Fri) OR 1:00 PM - 11:30 PM (Every other weekend) Duration: 16 Weeks Job Description: Under the direction of a Radiologist, performs radiologic procedures for the evaluation of pathological conditions as ordered by a physician. Responsible for patient preparation, imaging procedures, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring accurate documentation in compliance with departmental protocols. Responsibilities/Duties: Prepare and position patients for radiologic examinations Review clinical data and obtain relevant patient history Perform radiographic imaging using appropriate techniques and equipment Administer contrast media and monitor patients for reactions when required Ensure radiation safety using ALARA principles Maintain and prepare procedure rooms and necessary supplies Operate imaging systems and ensure high-quality image production Manage PACS and RIS documentation including image indexing and records Follow infection control and patient safety protocols Assist in training new staff and students as needed Requirements: High School Diploma or GED ARRT certification in Radiography (or registry eligible with completion within 6 months) Prior OR experience required (Ortho, Neuro, Vascular preferred) Experience in Level 1 or Level 2 trauma setting Strong knowledge of radiographic procedures and safety practices Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends #J-18808-Ljbffr HonorVet Technologies
