Job Description
The Assembler / Finisher plays a key role in building and finishing core and coil assemblies and related components used in industrial equipment. In this entry-level role, you construct and inspect assemblies, prepare and finish tanks and covers, and install and connect internal and external accessories to meet quality and safety standards. You work closely with a team, use clear communication, and apply basic problem-solving skills to complete production tasks accurately and on time.
Responsibilities

• Construct core and coil assemblies according to established procedures, drawings, and quality standards.
• Perform finishing tasks on assemblies, including preparation and completion of associated tank procedures.
• Prepare and finish tank covers, ensuring all components meet specified quality and safety requirements.
• Insert units into tanks or housings as directed and secure them correctly for final assembly.
• Install and connect internal accessories, ensuring proper fit, alignment, and functionality.
• Install and connect external accessories, including hardware and components required for final product completion.
• Inspect assemblies and components during and after production to verify quality and identify any defects or issues.
• Follow written instructions, work orders, and data entry requirements to track production activities and completed work.
• Collaborate with team members, lead workers, and other departments to coordinate workflow and resolve basic production issues.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, following housekeeping and safety guidelines at all times.
• Handle materials, parts, and inventory as needed to support production, including basic logistics and general labor tasks.
• Communicate clearly with coworkers and supervisors regarding progress, issues, and suggestions for improvement.
• Follow all safety procedures and use tools and equipment in a safe and responsible manner.

Work Environment
This role is based in a clean manufacturing and production facility that is not climate controlled, so temperatures may vary with the seasons. You work on a rotating swing shift schedule, alternating weekly between 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. The environment involves standing for extended periods, handling parts and materials, and working around industrial equipment and tools. The workplace emphasizes safety, organization, and teamwork, with clear procedures to guide daily tasks and production activities. Dress is typical for a manufacturing setting, with practical work attire and appropriate safety gear as required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Canonsburg, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.50 - $27.50/hr.
