Quality Assurance Specialist

Location: Grapevine, TX
Pay: $20–25/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Duration: 3–6 Month Contract with Potential for Permanent Hire

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist with strong document control and technical writing experience to support our Quality Management System (QMS) and ISO 9001 initiatives. This role is ideal for someone with exceptional proofreading, editing, and organizational skills who can work closely with employees across departments to create clear, accurate, and user-friendly work instructions and process documentation.

This position plays a key role in maintaining quality standards, improving documentation processes, and supporting company-wide compliance efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and maintain the ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS)
• Create, edit, proofread, and maintain policies, procedures, work instructions, and training materials
• Interview engineers, technicians, and subject matter experts to gather process information and translate it into clear documentation
• Ensure documentation accuracy, consistency, formatting, and version control
• Conduct and support internal quality audits
• Identify documentation gaps and recommend process improvements

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred
• 2+ years of experience supporting an ISO 9001 Quality Management System preferred
• Experience in manufacturing, electronics, repair, or other technical environments preferred
• Exceptional proofreading, grammar, spelling, and editing skills required
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are a MUST
• Ability to communicate professionally with employees across departments
• Experience creating technical documentation, SOPs, work instructions, or process documentation required
