Job Overview A law firm seeks a highly qualified and motivated mid-level associate to join its Real Estate group in Chattanooga, TN. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background and experience in a law firm or similar environment, with excellent writing, communication, and problem‑solving skills. Duties Represent property owners and investors in complex real estate and finance transactions. Handle acquisition financings, mezzanine financings, construction financings, refinancings, and loan modifications. Draft and review core transaction documents. Manage transactions from inception through closing and post‑closing. Requirements Three or more years of experience in real estate debt transactions. Experience representing lenders or borrowers. Ability to navigate complex subject matter effectively. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Active bar admission in the jurisdiction of practice. Skills Superior writing and communication skills. Strong problem‑solving abilities. Team‑oriented with ambition and drive.
