Registered Nurse – OrthopedicSchedule: 12-hour nightsAssignment Details:Contract Length: Minimum 13 weeksRequirements:Minimum 2 years clinical RN experienceOrthopedic experience requiredEpic experience preferred for first-time travelersLicensure: NC or compact pending acceptable for submittalRequired certifications: BLS (BCLS), NIHSSRoles & Responsibilities:Provide nursing care to patients in the orthopedic, neuro-spine, med-surg, and post-surgical populations.Monitor and manage post-operative pain, including the use of patient-controlled analgesia (PCA).Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and assess patient responses.Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and self-care post-discharge.Perform telemetry monitoring and IV starts as needed.Compliance / Notes:Weekend requirement: Every other weekend required.RTO after booking is not allowed, and call-offs or additional RTO may result in cancellation.Must pass EKG testing prior to start.Pre-start modules expected (acute ~8–10 hours).Orientation: ~36 hours (48 hours may be offered).Client Details:City: Winston SalemState: NCJob Board Disclaimer: TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is an equal-opportunity employer and fully complies with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
