Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $24.15 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a busy retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout interior common areas, exterior walkways, loading areas, and perimeter points to help identify unusual activity and/or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor entrances, storefront corridors, and high-traffic public areas to help support orderly operations, assist with access-related questions, and report suspicious behavior or policy violations.
• Support closing and opening activities as assigned, including checking designated areas, observing for unsecured access points, and reporting hazards, damage, and/or other security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid New York State Security Guard License is required.
• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
