Senior Staff Accountant @ High Growth PE Firm

Job Description

Our client is a High-Growth privately equity firm and they are looking for a Accounting professional to report the Controller. This professional will be assisting with accounting, financials, internal communications along with working with internal operations team!

Key Responsibilities:

\n
• Records journal entries and prepares accounting workpapers. This includes accruals, prepaids, and fixed assets schedules, etc.
\n
• Communicate internally with Controller and CEO; regularly updating them on financial reports
\n
• Prepare and analyze financial data including General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Month-End Reconciliations, and Invoicing
\n
• Review the P&L for any GL reclasses, accruals, and prepaids.
\n
• Review the P&L for entries with missing department, class, or location.
\n
• Post quarterly intercompany entries and issue fund invoices.
\n
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of assigned entities and serve as the primary point of contact for corporate accounting inquiries from other departments.
\n
• Assist with year-end financials and ad-hoc audit requests from outside consultants
\n
• Create process improvement initiatives to present to Controller and C-Suite
\n

Qualifications:

\n
• Excellent communication skills are a must, as well as rapid response times to email communications
\n
• 2-5 years of experience in Accounting a plus
\n
• Fundamental knowledge of GAAP a plus
\n
• Netsuite and Concur a plus
\n

Our client is a total compensation organization where you will be eligible for a base salary and discretionary performance bonus, including benefits. The estimated base salary range for this position is $90,000-105,000 plus bonus.
