Job Description

The Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist provides specialized diagnostic and therapeutic medical services in various medical fields, including Internal Medicine, Family Practice, Pediatrics, General and Orthopedic Surgery, Anesthesiology, Radiology, Urology, Optometry/Ophthalmology, Psychiatry, and ENT. This position is responsible for the technical operation of radiologic x-ray equipment and the processing of radiographic images on both an inpatient and outpatient basis.

Responsibilities

• Operate radiologic x-ray equipment to perform diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Process and evaluate radiographic images for quality and accuracy.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure timely and accurate imaging services.
• Maintain equipment and follow safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Successful completion of radiology training from an AMA approved school of Radiology.
• At least 3 years of experience in the radiology field, including CT.
• Expertise in operating teleradiology and fax equipment.
• Current valid Arizona State License in Radiology.
• Current ARRT Certification in Radiology, with advanced qualifications in CT Scan.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
