As a Practice Manager of Operations, you’ll work in an environment that encourages learning, team cohesion, and puts patients first. More About The Role Serve as a business partner to the supported Doctor, ensuring the office delivers unparalleled support and service to both Doctor and patients Guide your team by focusing on constant and never‑ending improvement, creating an environment where team members become masters of their individual roles Set the standard for exceptional customer service and team member collaboration as a key relationship builder Oversee the daily operations of the office, including filing patient claims with insurance companies, managing payments, resolving patient issues, coordinating team schedules, and tracking inventory levels Select, onboard, train, coach, and retain world‑class team members Review, analyze and use business reports to identify missed opportunities and recommend and implement best practices and systems needed to positively impact office performance What You’ll Gain Competitive benefits including health insurance and retirement savings plans, six paid holidays, and paid time off Continuing education to help you develop your full potential and become a true business partner to our supported Doctors Access to an expansive network of mentors and networking opportunities Top‑quality technology to assist in your daily responsibilities and allow for greater efficiencies in delivering exceptional patient care Minimum Qualifications Dental experience Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree or 3–5 years’ leadership experience in a professional office, hospitality, retail, banking, medical, or similar environment Experience working in a fast‑paced and customer‑centric environment Ability to analyze processes and information, identify problems and trends, and develop effective solutions and strategies Excellent communication, leadership, coaching, and conflict resolution skills Trustworthy, maintaining patient confidentiality and team ethics Position will require access to minimum PHI necessary for performing job‑related functions; regular HIPAA training will be required, and the individual must protect PHI and maintain data safeguards Preferred Experience 1+ years of experience in a dental or medical setting 1+ years of experience with insurance billing and accounts receivable Experience with Dentrix or other dental software Physical Requirements Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation; reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the position Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in‑person once conditions allow) periodically throughout the year, with some travel eventually involved As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy environment for both team members and patients, a tuberculosis (TB) test is required for all new hires in dental office positions; this is a standard requirement and must be completed prior to starting employment.
