KITCHEN MANAGER – BAKERY
Lead the team behind the fresh pastries, breads, and cakes our guests love.
We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Kitchen Manager to lead daily bakery production, develop our kitchen team, and maintain exceptional standards for quality, freshness, cleanliness, and food safety.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and supervise bakers, cakers, and kitchen team members
- Plan daily production based on sales and business needs
- Maintain product quality, freshness, presentation, and consistency
- Hire, train, schedule, coach, and motivate kitchen employees
- Manage food and labor costs, inventory, ordering, and waste
- Ensure recipes and Paris Baguette production standards are followed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe bakery
- Monitor equipment and report maintenance needs
- Coordinate with café management to meet sales and catering demands
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2–3 years of bakery, pastry, culinary, or kitchen management experience
- Previous experience leading and developing a production team
- Knowledge of bakery production, inventory, labor, and food-cost controls
- Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
