Member of Technical Staff Machine

Responsibilities

• Find predictive signals in large financial, fundamental, and alternative datasets.
• Design experiments and evaluations that distinguish real improvements from noise.
• Build rigorous, reproducible ML research systems for rapid experimentation.
• Develop and deploy production models and signals that remain effective over time.
• Use real-world outcomes to identify how models and agents can improve.
• Take ownership of open-ended machine learning research problems and guide priorities using evidence.

Requirements

• Experience at a frontier AI lab, agentic startup, high-growth technology company, leading investment manager, or similar organization.
• Experience developing, evaluating, and deploying machine learning models in production.
• Understanding of model failure modes, evaluation design, and how to distinguish promising results from noise.
• Strong quantitative judgment and experience working with large, complex datasets.
• Bachelor's, master's, or PhD in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
