Inpatient Pharmacy Technician Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health Indianapolis, IN Full-Time | Rotating Shifts Build Your Pharmacy Career at Riley At Riley Hospital for Children, you'll be part of a nationally recognized pediatric healthcare team dedicated to improving the lives of children and families across Indiana and beyond. Whether you're bringing experience from a retail, outpatient, or hospital setting, this role offers the opportunity to expand your skills, work alongside expert pharmacists and clinicians, and build a rewarding long-term career in pediatric healthcare. What You'll Do Prepare, package, label, and distribute medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Support medication preparation and compounding activities following established standards and procedures. Deliver medications throughout the hospital and replenish automated dispensing cabinets. Manage pharmacy inventory, including receiving, stocking, and monitoring medication supplies. Maintain accurate documentation and medication records within pharmacy systems. Assist in ensuring compliance with medication safety standards, regulatory requirements, and departmental policies. Work closely with pharmacy and clinical teams to support outstanding patient care across the hospital. What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent. At least one year of pharmacy technician experience required. Valid Indiana Pharmacy Technician license/registration in good standing. Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work rotating shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Preferred Qualifications Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT). Experience working in a healthcare, retail, outpatient, or hospital pharmacy environment.
