Assistant Manager
Ooh La La Dessert Boutique in Katy, TX is seeking a positive, dependable Assistant Manager to join our team. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys leading others, and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.
At Ooh La La, we believe great desserts start with great people. Our ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, leads by example, and helps create a welcoming atmosphere for both customers and team members.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily bakery operations and shift management
- Train, coach, and develop team members
- Delegate tasks and follow up to ensure completion
- Lead by example in providing friendly, accurate, and efficient customer service
- Support opening and closing procedures
- Maintain bakery cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards
- Assist with scheduling and staffing to meet business needs
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate ordering needs
- Ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed
- Help create a positive, team-oriented work environment
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Reliable, punctual, and attentive to detail
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Previous supervisory, retail, restaurant, bakery, or hospitality experience preferred
- Passion for customer service and supporting team success
