Thermal Concepts , provides high-quality HVAC services to commercial clients across the region. Our team specializes in the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. We are committed to safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction - and we're seeking detail-oriented Senior Staff Accountant to join a growing accounting team. This role plays a key part in supporting day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and collaborating across multiple entities.

Position Requirements

What you'll do

• Prepare and post journal entries; maintain general ledger accuracy
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
• Support intercompany accounting transactions and reconciliations
• Analyze financial data and investigate discrepancies
• Assist with financial reporting and supporting schedules
• Maintain fixed assets and depreciation records
• Support AP/AR functions as needed
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies
• Assist with audit preparation and external auditor requests
• Partner cross-functionally with operations and leadership
• Identify process improvement opportunities

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3-5 years of accounting experience
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and reconciliations
• Experience with intercompany accounting preferred
• Construction industry experience a plus
