The firm supports independent insurance companies with tailored investment strategies that back real promises with real assets. 1823 Partners manages a growing portfolio of private market investments with the objective of generating compelling returns for insurance companies and their policyholders, as well as other long-term-oriented institutional investors. 1823 Partners will initially focus on real estate, asset-backed finance, credit, insurance solutions and private equity, with a $18.7 billion-dollar asset mandate from JAB Insurance US Holdings, Inc. ("JAB Insurance"). The firm is headquartered in Miami and has an office in New York.

Position Summary

1823 is seeking a highly motivated Business Operations professional to join our team in New York. This role will support day-to-day operations and drive strategic initiatives to meet the firm's growth goals. This role is ideal for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset, a deep interest in asset management and a passion for leveraging technology/automation to create efficient, scalable processes and reporting capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Business Operations Team to advance PAM's strategic priorities
• Support day-to-day project management of cross functional strategic initiatives
• Manage reporting and data processes, including preparation of board presentation materials and monitoring data integrity across reporting systems
• Partner with stakeholders across the business to gather and define project requirements, success criteria, and key dependencies, translating inputs into clear project deliverables that align with the firm's priorities
• Manage relationships and workstreams with certain vendors, clients & prospective clients

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience
• Bachelor's degree with a strong academic record
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Detail oriented with strong project management skills
• Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset and desire to work with a lean and growing team
• Ability to work efficiently both in a team setting, and independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, perform under pressure and meet deadlines
• Effective communication and relationship building skills
• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
