Business System Architect

Provide technical expertise in analyzing, designing, implementing, and maintaining applications in support of Netsmart’s operational needs.​ResponsibilitiesDefine and maintain enterprise architecture standards, patterns, and roadmaps for business systemsLead solution architecture reviews and provide architectural governance across multiple business system implementationsPartner with business stakeholders and business system administrators to establish configuration standards and best practicesEvaluate new technologies and architectural approaches to drive innovationGuide and mentor Business System Developers and Business System Administrators in architectural decisionsOversee technical design for complex, cross-platform solutionsEstablish and maintain relationships with key platform partnersConduct Proof-of-Concept to evaluate feasibility of new solutionsDesign, manage, and maintain data warehouse ETL's using Azure native servicesQualificationsRequiredBachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experienceAt least 7 years experience operating enterprise SaaS, PaaS, or custom developed softwareAt least 2 years experience designing system architectureAt least 2 years experience operating in a major cloud provider such as AWS, Azure, GCP, OCIDeep expertise in systems integration patterns, API design, and enterprise architecture principlesStrong understanding of security architecture and compliance requirementsDemonstrated proficiency in database administration and/or data warehousing strategiesPreferredExperience with Microsoft SQL database administrationExperience with Azure Data Factory pipelinesInformation Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certificationProficient in utilizing Artificial Intelligence agents to boost productivityExpectationsThis position may require availability outside of standard business hours as part of a rotational on-call scheduleNetsmart is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and is an affirmative action employer, providing equal employment and advancement opportunities to all individuals.
