Integrated Healthcare Services is seeking a travel nurse RN Infusion for a travel nursing job in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Required: RNs must have one year of inpatient experience minimum in the related department with the trauma level shown below
Required: One year of travel experience is preferred but will consider six months’ travel
Required: All Candidates are expected to Float as needed 

Required: Stephenson Cancer Center Infusion Center in Tulsa; Monday to Friday 7am-5pm

Required: Contingent positions requested as part of the SCC Hillcrest employment transition in Tulsa. ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate - Oncology Nursing Society (ONS).

Job Summary

Under general supervision, provides nursing care in a hospital setting to patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex.

Essential Responsibilities

• Administers chemotherapy drugs, PO, SC injections, and other medications as ordered by physicians.
• Provides expert consultation on chemotherapy and its side effects.
• Documents patient responses to interventions and treatments, noting changes in physician orders.
• Assists physicians during conscious sedation and minor diagnostic procedures.
• Monitors physiological data and intervenes as necessary.
• Initiates, regulates, and monitors IV infusions and blood products.
• Educates patients and families about chemotherapy and clinic procedures.
• Schedules follow-up activities and coordinates care, including referrals and phone triage.
• Delegates tasks to support staff.

Required Qualifications

• 1 year of nursing experience.
• Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures.
• Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors.
• Basic computer skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from a board-approved program.

Required Certifications & Licensure

• Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a multistate compact RN License (eNLC).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• ACLS certification (American Heart Association).
• Fundamentals of Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Administration certification (Oncology Nursing Society).
• ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate (Oncology Nursing Society).
