Manufacturing Engineer - Service

DePuy Synthes seeks a Manufacturing Engineer for service and repair operations in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. The role involves engineering support for robotics, power tools, and capital equipment, focusing on process development, tooling design, workflow optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering projects and cross-functional initiatives to enhance service and repair quality, efficiency, and cost performance
• Develop repair procedures, inspection protocols, equipment tooling, and technician work instructions
• Conduct process studies, root cause analyses, investigations, and corrective actions for nonconformances and complaints
• Design fixtures, gauges, measurement systems, and inspection methods supporting repair operations
• Execute engineering studies, process validations, and implement improvements using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
• Relevant professional work experience in manufacturing and/or engineering
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Minitab, and database applications
• Demonstrated project management and organizational skills with results-oriented approach
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities
• Experience in regulated industries, preferably medical device or similar sector (preferred)
